The Drupal Web Publishing Platform has seen a widespread adoption all around the globe. Drupal is best know for it's web site management capabilities (millions of public websites are running on Drupal) but organizations are increasingly trying to adapt Drupal for other purposes like Intranets, social collaboration platforms, elearning systems.
That is why we have seen the arrival of many different Drupal 'Distributions'. Distributions can be considered to be pre-packaged websites with specific features and functionalities. Some of them have a more functional orientation like for intranets, social collaboration platforms or high-traffic websites while others are focused towards specific market segments like government, schools and universities, recruiters, conference organizers or news agencies.
During this seminar, we will explain what a Drupal Distribution is and provide you with an overview of the different Distributions available in the market.
