Leuven, 26 January 2011 - With a (non-audited) turnover of € 6,680,000 Amplexor, a specialist in Enterprise Content Management, can look back on a successful 2010, recording a 22% growth from last year.

"For 2010, we had targeted 18% growth. We are very pleased that we have achieved, and even substantially exceeded, this target", says Eric Pieters, CEO of Amplexor. "The 2010 results are comparable to those of 2009. Then, despite the economic crisis, we generated a turnover of € 5,614,000, which signified 23% growth."

Enterprise Content Management is a booming industry. This can be explained by the fact that the volume of digital information is still increasing year after year. "According to forecasts made by International Data Corporation (IDC), the amount of data in the Digital Universe will grow by a factor of 44 between 2009 and 2020", explains Eric Pieters. "Companies are also seeing a constant growth in their information flow. That is, of course, good news for Amplexor." In 2010, Amplexor generated a net profit before tax of € 379,000, which translates into a 43% growth compared to the previous year.

The Amplexor workforce also increased in 2010 with 12 people, mostly technical consultants and project managers. This brings the total number of employees to 51, but the company intends to hire another 16 employees in 2011.

"Amplexor is becoming an increasingly prominent player in the Enterprise Content Management market", says Eric Pieters. "More and more customers are entrusting us with their critical projects. Therefore, we have positive expectations for 2011. Based on the size of our order book, we are likely to show substantial growth again", concludes Eric Pieters.
